My daughter is salivating over the recipe as we read!!!!
What is cool whip? I can't think of anything similar except ice cream or maybe gelato but I may be way out with that. Could I use cream or meringue??
You rock.. (thats from my 13 yr old!)

Sorry, had to steal this one :o)
Cool whip is almost like whipped cream, but, in a plastic tub like margarine. It's in the frozen section usually with the pie shells and ice cream.

We don't have it in Australia I will have to improvise. My husband looked at this recipe and said it sounds like a heart attack waiting to happen and when could I make it!!! He said when he was a kid we had a cool whip like thing called dessert whip but he hasn't seen it for years, i never remember seeing it but he grew up in Canberra so maybe it was a local thing.

Cool Whip is like a really thickened version of whipped cream in a spray can.
