I went to Venice, Italy in the spring of this year and every morning had this wonderful pastry-almost custard-like, or cream pie-ish(
) but firmer, like cake, too. I didn't see it anywhere but at our hotel in the Cannareggio district. Does anyone know about this pastry and have the recipe ?
We learned not to wait til the end of the meal to get this
from the desert table-get it first!!
