Breakfast pastry in Italy...
I went to Venice, Italy in the spring of this year and every morning had this wonderful pastry-almost custard-like, or cream pie-ish(
) but firmer, like cake, too. I didn't see it anywhere but at our hotel in the Cannareggio district. Does anyone know about this pastry and have the recipe ?We learned not to wait til the end of the meal to get this from the desert table-get it first!! ![]() I love reading here! Thanks!!! |
