ISO butterscotch pie
My grandmother used to make a pie that had homemade butterscotch pudding and some kind of nuts. It was topped with meringue. Any thoughts on this?

I found this recipe for homemade butterscotch pudding in the January 1999 issue of Gourmet magazine. All you'd have to do is to fill your prebaked pie shell with the pudding that you've added some toasted pecans to, top with meringue and brown the meringue a bit. Hope this helps. Sounds yummy. I like butterscotch "anything."
