Is there a Generic recipe for this?

I searched and the recipes are all over the map..

I thought it was generally..

Jello or Pudding
fruit
Cool Whip

Fold Together, then

Fill a Grahm Cracker crust and chill?

Thanks, Eric, Austin Tx.

There certainly is one.Check the Jello-Pudding packages. They have recipes for pies.
Make it as they suggest, then add it to your pie crust of choice.Top it off with whipped cream.Freeze or refrigerate.

For an Ice Cream Pie (Strawberry,or vanilla.)Just as an example here.

pick your favorite 1/2 gallon
Fresh strawberries sliced or chunked, not completely mooshed
Chocolate graham cracker crust-chilled in the fridge
Cool whip,or your own
Chocolate topping

Set the ice cream out on the counter. When it's manageable scoop it into a large bowl.Mix it until it's creamy. Not melted.
You need to work fast with this one.
Add the strawberries.
Pour it into the chilled pie crust.
Top it with the cool whip
If you want drizzle over the top with a chocolate sauce.
Freeze it for an hour or longer.
When your ready to slice into it.Let it rest on the counter for 10 minutes.

Enjoy!

Munky.
