ISO pear pie recipe

We had a great pear pie recipe but lost the book in the fire.

Can anyone id the recipe for me. You layer halved pears on the base pastry and then add the sweet pastry lid over the pears and it takes on the shape of the pears underneath it.

Thanks

Ray
