ISO a tnt custard pie

my mom used to make this all the time when i was a kid, it was a slightly sweet custard in reg. pie shell. i seem to remember that she sprinkled nutmeg on the top

ring any bells with anyone, i have looked to food tv and they all have another flaver in them.

Hi!

I don't actually know what you're referring to, but I use a recipe for banana cream pie that you might be able to adapt: Granny's Banana Cream Pie Recipe | Recipezaar. Just don't put the sliced bananas into the shell before pouring in the custard, and it seems like you'll be all set. The custard in this recipe comes out mildly vanilla-y and has the perfect amount of sweetness.

Hope I helped! If this is totally unlike whatever you're looking for, I recommend trying it sometime anyway because it's sooo good

My grandmother used to make one just like that!!! I wish I had the recipe to share with you but... most of her recipes were in her head and the ones she did write down my aunt has and she won't share!
