Just one more....how long should I blind bake it for because the pie itself bakes for 45-50 minutes???

Bake it for 8-10 minutes then remove the pie weights and bake for another 5 minutes.

Thanks everyone, just wanted to let you know I used beans and pre baked the crust and then baked on the bottom rack. It turned out awesome!!

Welcome Gogirl to DC. The last time I was in the Market I saw a lot of frozen pie crusts and you might give them a try sometime.
