Thanks crewsk! This is on my list of things to do tomorrow. I need to make something to welcome new neighbors that moved in down the street but the pie will be for ME! I think I'll try ABJ's strawberry bread for the newbies.

Crewsk, this recipe reminds me of the one my mom used to make when I was a kid. I used to request a blackberry pie every year for my birthday. Thanks for bringing back the memories.
