I made this tonight while working....and am eating a piece right now...and it's really good! Would be a great Halloween Cake because the top turns kind of an orange color because of the butterscotch chips. I added a few more than the 6 ounces called for though. No need to ice it either!

APPLE BUTTERSCOTCH CAKE

MIX ALTOGETHER:

1 CUP OIL

2 EGGS

2 CUPS SUGAR

2 ½ CUPS FLOUR

1 TEASPOON SODA

1 TEASPOON SALT

1 TEASPOON CINNAMON

1 TEASPOON BAKING POWDER

1 CUP PECANS

3 CUPS DICED APPLES ( I used canned packed in water)

SPREAD IN A 9X13 PAN

TOP WITH

6 OUNCES BUTTERSCOTCH CHIPS

BAKE @350 FOR 45 MINUTES
