Blueberry Macarons

Hi guys, I've just recently gotten into baking food photography and would like to share with you some blueberry macarons I've made.

Any feedback will be much appreciated!

Recipe incorporated from Pierre Hermé pastries recipe book. Enjoy :)

Hi, if I don't have caster sugar, is there a substitute, or can I put mr regular granulated sugar in a blender first?

What lovely looking macarons - I read somewhere that the Roux Bros (Michelin starred restaurant owners in the U.K.) used to judge would be chefs by them.

Those look really good. What exactly is in the filling?

chopper: you can blend granulated sugar, just be careful not to overheat it as it can melt and caramelize, burning your blender ;)

Hi lardeffect, I don't know how to tell (yet) if people are on line but cuppers kindly gives his recipes for both the shell and the filling in the link in his original post

Thanks for the tip. Don't want to burn up my blender.
