This cake is very very rich but oh so good! It is very easy to make also. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do although I can not eat it like I use to since I am now a diabetic. My family still likes it so I make it for them when we get together.

Boiled Chocolate Cake

Mix in large bowl and SET ASIDE
2 cups self rising flour
2 cups sugar

Mix in a sauce pan
1 stick of oleo
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 cup water
1/2 cup shortening
4 TBLS coco
Heat to a rolling boil, then add dry ingredients. Beat with a spoon untill well mixed THEN ADD the following
2 eggs, well beaten
1 teasp vanilla
1 teasp soda
1 teasp cinnamon
1/4 tesp salt
Mix well then pour into greased 9x13 inch pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 min.

Chocolate Icing
Make icing while cake is baking. Put in a sauce pan
1 stick of oleo
8 TBLS canned milk
4 TBLS coco
Heat to rolling boil. Remove from heat and ADD
1 box (1lb) of powered sugar
1 cup pecans
1 teasp vanilla
Ice cake while hot and still in pan
