I'd rather listen to the oldies: Django Rheinhardt & Stephan Grapelli, Benny Goodman, Sidney Bechet, Louis Armstrong, Bud Freeman, or Ben Webster.

But NOLA is for everyone who wants to eat well and have a good ole time.

thanks for this pound cake & booze thread. the timing is perfect. time to start chopping up dried fruit to soak brandy for a month or two for the holiday fruit cake season.

i'm a big fan of cake & booze being consumed at the same time.
