I have several recipes for cakes using mixes. Here's a good one:

Strawberry Cake

1 package white cake mix
1 package strawberry jello
1/2 cup water
4 eggs
3 tbls flour
1 cup oil
2/4 of 10 oz package frozen strawberries
FROSTING:
1/4 stick butter
remaining berries
1 box (1 lb) powdered sugar

Mix together first 7 ingredients and beat four minutes. Pour into sprayed 9x13 pan and bake at 350 degrees 30-35 minutes, or until done. Cool. Beat together the butter, remaining berries, and enough powdered sugar to spread. Spread on top of cake and garnish with fresh strawberries.

*NOTE: this cake is delicious, but very sweet...you may prefer to use unsweetened strawberries if you want to lighten it up a bit.

This is one of those cakes you cant' stop nibbling...

Jewish Coffee Cake

CAKE
1 pkg white cake mix
1 pkg instant vanilla pudding mix
1/2 cup oil
4 eggs
12 oz sour cream
1 tsp vanilla
FILLING
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
1 cup nuts, chopped
GLAZE
1 cup powdered sugar
1/4 cup orange juice

DIRECTIONS:
Mix cake ingredients in large bowl. Pour 1/2 batter in greased and bloured 9x13 pan. Sprinkle 1/2 the filling over batter. Add the rest of batter. Top with the rest of the filling. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 1 hour. Mix together powdered sugar and orange juice. Drizzle over top of cake while it is still warm.
