Chocolate Cherry Cake
1 pkg Pillsbury Plus devils food cake mix
1 (21 oz) can cherry pie filling
1 tsp almond extract
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup sugar
5 tbsp butter
1/3 c. milk
1 (6 oz) pkg. chocolate chips
Heat oven to 350. Grease and flour a 13x9 pan. In bowl, combine all bar ingredients. Stir and mix well. Pour into pan. Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes.
In a small saucepan, combine sugar, butter, and milk. Bring to a boil. Boil 1 minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Stir in chocolate chips until smooth. Pour over warm cake.
