EASY CRANBERRY CAKE




2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. sweet milk
Dash of salt
4 tbsp. butter, melted
2 c. raw cranberries (plus more for toppers)

--SAUCE:--

1 c. sugar
1 c. cream
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
Boil sauce mixture for 5 minutes.

Combine sugar, salt, baking powder and milk. Add flour and cranberries and butter. Bake at 350 degrees in 9 x 13 inch pan for 25-30 minutes, or until cake passes the Toothpick test.

Top individual servings with a half-dozen or so whole cranberries and a few tablespoons of warm sauce.

That looks like it would be great! I have some frozen cranberries that need a purpose... this looks like a purpose ;)

How 'bout the possibility of making this in a bundt pan?
