Hey guys! So I got really bored one night and wanted to try and make rose cupcakes just because lol. Well I used the Wilton buttercream icing because those were the only ingredients I has laying around. But instead of a cup of crisco I used 1/4 a cup and the 3/4 cup of butter. The icing was good. But because I used so much on the cupcakes my family threw away at least a fourth of the icing. Lol o another thing u guys should no. I never eat anything I bake. I enjoy it more when I feed others lol

The recipe if the icing?

Buttercream icing
1/4 cup of vegetable shortening
3/4 cup of unsalted butter.
Flavoring according to tast ( I usually use about 1.5 table spoons of vanilla)
Water (1-3 tablespoons)
Powder sugar
Coloring of your choice

Cream the crisco, butter, the flavoring and 1 tablespoon of water.
Slowing start added powders sugar by half a cup at a time.
Continue doing this until desired consistency is formed.( usually with stiff peaks)
Add coloring and mix until evenly coated.

Hi Waldo, i agree what you say when I never eat anything I bake. I definitely enjoy it more when I feed others instead. By the way, your rose cupcakes look wonderful!

How did you do the rose?

Hey!

Which number tip did you use to make the rose? I have been struggling to find the perfect one!

also I know what you mean about the icing, every time I use that recipe I always hear about how sweet it is and how people can only handle so much!

They are gorgeous. At first when u said rosé cupcakes I thought you meant rose flavored. I think I may make some too! With rosé water instead of vanilla. Thanks for the idea
