Flavored Whipped Cream

I made a small batch of whipped cream in my mixer, and added flavored Jello mix to it as it finished. Very easy...and my wife makes it with Cool-Whip.
Easy, quick trick!!!

how do u make frosting w/ coolwhipe and jello? i have some cool whip at home and i have no idea what i can do with it.. thanks

mix the dry jello packet with the cool whip to your desired flavor, and spread it on a cake, muffins...etc!!!

Here's one I use for a "Mandarin Orange" Cake
You could use any fruit if well enough drained I would imagine...and the jello for color would be great!

ICING:

1 (20 OUNCE) CAN CRUSHED PINEAPPLE
MIXED WITH 1 BOX VANILLA INSTANT PUDDING MIX
FOLD INTO 1 (9 OUNCE) COOL WHIP.

Very cool idea, I've used Jell-o to flavour frosting (icing) but never whipped cream before. Thanks for sharing this neat tip/recipe Erik, I'm going to pass it along to my sister as she was obsessed with making Jell-o and instant pudding when we growing up
