Fondant eyeballs

sounds yucky!
but my son wanted eyeballs around his pirate themed birthday cake.

its just balls of fondant, I painted cheap food coloring on. I did green first, and then added detail with blue. I cannot believe how real they look!

I used gumballs on my halloween cheesecake, I'd never have the skill to do what you did.

well, they were a great success, the 6 year olds almost rioted when they saw them
One boy grabbed two, others had to be held back, tears and tantrums from those who didn't get one.
note to self, next time, make 30 eyeballs.
