Granny's Red Velvet Cake

2 1/2 C sifted cake flour
1 1/2 C sugar
1 Teaspoon baking soda
1 Teaspoon cocoa powder
1 C buttermilk
1 1/2 C vegetable oil
1 Teaspoon white vinegar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 oz. Bottle of red food coloring


Preheat oven to 350°.
Sift together dry ingredients. Add the rest of the ingredients & using mixer, mix well. Batter will be thin.
Bake approximately 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
