I was sifting together ingredients to make a chocolate cake and misread the directions. Now I have a mixture of 2 1/2c cocoa powder, 1 1/2c cake flour, 3/4c sugar. I was only supposed to use 1 c cocoa powder and leave the rest for the frosting. I hate it when I make stupid mistakes like that.
I obviously can't make the cake with it now. Any way to salvage this mixture so I don't have to throw it away? I was thinking maybe making some sort of chocolate pudding from scratch??
