And I don't have confectioners sugar. I know you can make it but you have to add alittle cream of tartar i think. Cn someone give me a substitution?
 
Confectioner's sugar is finely ground sugar mixed with cornstarch to keep the sugar from clumping.

I suppose you could make it in a blender or food processor, but I don't think you'll ever get it as fine and certainly not as uniform as the commercial product.

No idea how much cornstarch there is.
 
powdered sugar = confectioner's sugar = icing sugar Substitutes: Mix 1 cup granulated sugar + 1 tablespoon corn starch in blender until powdery, stirring often OR (to sweeten whipped cream) artificial sweeteners (add after cream is completely whipped)
