ISO Caramel Cake recipe
My great Grandmother used to make a caramel cake that was divine. I wish I had her recipe! All I remember is that she used real butter and 12 eggs in the cake and that the icing she cooked in a cast iron skillet until it was thick almost like a fudge. I can still taste this cake in my dreams and would love love love to find a similar recipe. Does anyone have anything that might be close? Thank you!
