ISO cupcake help

I am wanting to make some cupcakes incorporating fruits in some way. I do not want to go the usual route with the same old boring recipes.. Thanks in advance.

I love to make fresh preserves, and toss that into my cake batter. I usually leave fresh fruit for garnishes/frosting.
