ISO white frosting/icing recipe

I usually just frost my cake with a white frosting by jiffy. My mother got me hooked on that. But once and a while I like the sugary, make you sick frosting you get on boughten cakes. Anyone have a recipe they could share. I did a search and tried one and it didn't come out like the boughten one. It had crisco,pow sugar,van,milk,dash salt, 2 egg whites. Maybe I didn't mix the stuff together in the right order. Any help please. Thanks.

Here is a receipt for marshmallow fondant I realize it may not be the type of icing your looking for but it is sickeningly sweet and looks great on cakes.
