Potluck Cake

This is my basic recipe,
3 cups of all purpose flour
2 cups sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1-1/2 cups of milk
1/3 cup butter or margarine (softened)
1-1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract(or extract of your choice)
2 eggs

Add 2 tablespoons strawberry jelly or frozen strawberries
3 tablespoons cranberry sauce and two drops of red food coloring

You can add 1/2 cup coconut, or chocolate chips, or nuts, or blueberries,or chopped cherries,or chopped dates,or raisins,or chopped pineapple.

You can add a small box of instant vanilla pudding and the cake will be like a pound cake.

You can make this a marble cake...add 1/2 cup cocoa

You can make a coffee cake by making a streusel topping

You can add 1/2 cup peanut butter

Grease and flour 9 x 13 size pan bake 375 for 30 - 35 minutes
Enjoy
