Question Question about Carrot Cake

Hi there,

Just after some advise about a cake.

If i make a carrot cake with cream in the middle of it, and i have a white chocolate ganache on the outside sprinkled with coconut and drizzled with dark chocolate, would it all go? or would the coconut/ganache/dark chocolate taste a bit strange on it? Not made carrot cake before, but they sure do taste good ;)

I have to go back to work, will check later if anyone has replied.

Thanks for reading,
Rom

Hi, Rom. Haven't seen you in a while. Glad to have you back.

Your combination sounds good. As long as you are just drizzling the dark chocolate, I think you'll have a winner. Enjoy!

Most carrot cakes have a cream cheese frosting. A carmel flavor might be a better taste match, but it won't have the "pop" the chocolate drizzle does.

I made the cake. It was a hit :)
Cream in the middle, white chocolate ganache on the top and dark chocolate drizzled over it :)
