I have a strawberry cake recipe using similar ingredients, that some people like, but I think it's kind of "sickening" sweet. It uses a powdered sugar frosting with some of strawberries in it (the old fashioned sweetened kind). The other strawberries go into the cake mix along with extra eggs and oil.
I think your use of the juice, and the Cool Whip frosting would be so much beter!
