“Surprise” Cupcakes

This is a tradition that my mother-in-law started. We usually have this or brownies at her house.

Combine in bowl –

21- 8oz Cream cheese (room temperature)
1/8 tsp salt

1 egg beaten
1 – 6oz package chocolate chips

3Fill cupcake papers ½ - ¾ full
4Drop 1 tsp of cream cheese mixture in center of each cupcake

Shoot. I wish I had seen this this morning. I made chcolate cc.s this morning, before the sun came up and it got too hot. As much as I love the standard one's I always make, these would have been a nice change.
Thanks, Mickey. I'll use this next time.
