Would like to add an ingredient

Hi, I have a recipe for a slow cooker hot fudge cake, but I would like to add one extra ingredient to it, pepsi. Would a cup be enough, or should it be more?? This is a dessert I want to make for Valentine's Day. My son said the only way he would eat it, is if I made it a Pepsi cake...lol

You might try an Internet search for "slow cooker Pepsi cake" and see what comes up.

I've never made a cake in a slow cooker so I can't answer with any experienced advice.

Do you mead add or substitute?

I wouldn't add more liquid to a cake

There are a number of recipes out there for slow cooker cakes that have soda substituted for other liquid.

Example: 2-Ingredient Slow Cooker Texas Coke Cake — Brooke Lark

Hi Janet, thanks for the recipe, looks good but I'm just going to stick to the recipe I have. Thanks again, I'll save it for future reference

Add scoops of ice cream to a glass. Pour over Pepsi. Serve with cake. Wah-lah.
