Another recipe of my mom's.

Betty Greene's Honey Drops

Ingredients:
3-1/4 cups sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 cup sweet butter or margarine
1-1/3 cups firmly packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup honey
1 large egg
1 cup seedless raisins
1 cup coarsely chopped nuts
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:
Sift together flour, salt, baking powder and nutmeg. Cream butter and sugar; add honey and egg. Beat until fluffy. Stir in flour mixture; add raisins, nuts and vanilla. Mix until thoroughly blended. Chill dough. Drop by level tablespoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 10 to 12 minutes. Makes about 6 dozen cookies.
