My mother brought this recipe from Pennsylvania. I'm hooked, these are way tasty and easy to make!!!!
CLUB CRACKER COOKIES
50 CLUB crackers
2 sticks butter
1/4 c. granulated sugar
1/4 c. Brown Sugar
2/3 c. chopped pecans
Melt butter over low heat. Then add sugar and cook over medium high for 2 minutes. Place crackers close together, sides touching. Sprinkle with pecans. Spoon sugar mixture over crackers. Bake at 325 to 350 degrees for approximately 5 minutes. Remove from pan immediately. If too hard to remove, return pan briefly to oven again.
I made these with Splenda Sugar and Brown Sugar blend, and it still came ot great!!!
