If nothing else, it's a festive email to receive. I've never found the cookies they pick to be deserving of all the fanfare, however. I've always found nicer recipes in the December issues of magazines like Woman's Day, etc..., the ones you see at the checkout in supermarkets.
 
They had a "greek celebration cookie" last year (sorry--brain futz--can't seem to remember the real name) and while the orange water was a little hard to come by, the recipe was really good, easy (the dough could go in the fridge to bake later), and festive, and a big hit with the family. It was the only one I liked the looks of.
