I need a good Whopee pie recipe

Hello everyone,

I'm pretty new on posting but I need your help. I'm looking for a good whopee pie recipe. Can anyone help?

Next time I talk to my mom I'll get her recipe--it's originally my grandma's who was PA Dutch and made these all the time!

I can't wait for the recipe. At my husband's family reunion we have to bring some and as I am not from America I do not have this particular recipe. So I can't wait to recieve the recipe so that I impress my in laws and their family.

No, Fisher's Mom, they're not. But you could probably turn them into Moon Pies by dipping the finished Whoopie Pies into a chocolate shell-like coating. And the down side of that would be.....
