Guys, I need your help. I am planning a picnic type party for family to thank them for all of their help in our recent move. I have tons of coconut macaroon cookies (packaged) and I would like to use them to make a big dessert for the occasion. Any ideas? It needs to be easy and hopefully inexpensive.

Oh, I think the bread pudding idea sounds great and so does the trifle. I also think they'd be good mixed with an ice cream.

You could create some sort of a pina colada bread pudding, using vanilla pudding mixed with crushed pineapple, crushed macaroons, some rum (if you wish), yada, yada, yada.....

Yummy yummy yummy!

I am not sure if it would work or not but, how about banana pudding using the macaroons instead of the vanilla wafers.

I think a small test run would be in order.

Of course you could just serve the cookies:chef:

I don't think this croud would go for bread pudding even if it was made with cookies, though it sounds great to me. I'm thinking the bannana pudding idea would probably work best for these guys. Thanks for the ideas, one and all.
