I'm using the gingerbread cookie recipe
to make the reindeer for a Christmas
dinner I'm going to tomorrow night.

got out the pan i bought for gingerbread cakes. maybe tomorrow.

they are in gingerbread men shapes (same size as most cookies) makes 6 little cakes at one time. i think i should have bought two pans. gonna take a while with only six.

I have tried a couple but now getting to the end of baking - as I am "Baked out"

Wouldn't too much flour take away the taste, tho?? If that makes sense....

I find that rolling them out on powdered sugar instead of flour works very well and there is no extra flour taste.

Maybe cornbread? I've been looking for one of those cast iron corn cob molds but no luck so far.
