"Marmalady" Cookies

"Marmalady" Cookies

1 c. marmalade
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. craisins
1 egg
1/2 c. shortening
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. vanilla

Mix all ingredients.
Drop by spoonfuls on greased cookie sheet.
Bake @ 350 for 8-10 min.

I just baked the cookies I used sour cherry marmalade and dried cherries. Decorated them with small stripes of dark chocolate icing...I think that harmonises well with the sour cherries.
They are delicious. Thanks for the recipe!
