Need a cookie recipe.

These Jam Thumbprint cookies are great for Easter.

Bake them after making the indent but, without adding the jam.

When they cool put a small dab of frosting in the indentation and top with three Cadbury mini chocolate eggs or small jelly beans.

We always called them Robin's nests.

They are also great rolled in chopped pecans or walnuts for those folks that don't care for coconut.

Finally, they are also great with a spoon of lemon curd plopped into the indentation after they have cooled! :yum:
 
hello callmaker60 I'm very happy to give you this a great recipe of cookies ,

the recipe is Chocoholic Cookies

12 oz dark or semisweet chocolate chips
4 tbsp sugar
1 stick (1/2 cup) butter
1 14 oz. can sweetened, condensed milk
1 cup all-purpose flour
3 tsp vanilla
1 cup pecans, chopped



Stir first four ingredients in double boiler, or in a heavy saucepan over low heat, until melted and smooth. Remove from heat and stir in flour, vanilla, and pecans. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls on cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-9 minutes.

My mum used to make them, over here they were called Gollywog Eyes :)
