Tippy's Sugar Pecan Crisp Cookies (TNT)
This is a family heirloom recipe. It is exsellent: easy to make, and quite tasty! You can't eat just one.

Ingredients:
3/4 cup margarine (I use sweet, make sure it is not light margarine)
2/3 cup sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt
1-3/4 cups flour
1/2 cup chopped pecans (original recipe called for 1/2 cup chopped pecans, but we use lots more to encapsulate the roll)

Directions:
Cream margarine and sugar until light. Beat in egg, vanilla and salt. Gradually stir in flour. Shape dough into two rolls on waxed paper. Roll in chopped pecans. Refrigerate until firm. Slice and bake about 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
