TNT Egg Nog Cookies

SO just made these from a recipe in the newspaper from a local dairy. She had to chase me off with a broom so there would be some left for Thanksgiving! They are delicious!

I made these tonight (you think you just CAN'T get everything done in time, but somehow you manage to).

Mine look considerably more rustic than the ones in the recipe picture that Andy posted, but they taste good. Mine browned beautifully on the bottom.

My cookies came out puffy and cakey, light, fragile ... is that right, Andy?

I added a little rum to the icing. It set up, somewhat, but I can't stack them. And I got six dozen of them (I made a double batch).
