Washboard Cookies

Can anybody help me. I have lost my mothers time worn recipe for a cookie that my sister and I called washboard cookies because thay looked like an old fashioned washboard. I remember they were so very simple to make and they had coconut and nut meg in them. That is all I can rememberr about then.
