Caramel Chocolate Nut Popcorn

In light of luckytrim's thread, I ran a search for other chocolate popcorn recipes. I found this one. http://www.budget101.com/Popcorn/Cho...ut-Popcorn.htm
It looks delicious to me, anyone have the guts to try it? I think I'd have to quarter the recipe or something.

change the almonds to pecans and we'd love this.

That's a heck of a lot of popcorn for two people though.
I'd better not make it. I'll turn into a popcorn ball.

mmm. pecans would be better. that's a great idea. you're right about it being too much popcorn. though I'm sure our 2 year old would eat the entire batch in one sitting if we let him!

Different

Do you know how much this would run in store? When they have finished with our last batch of popcorn will attempt to try this. Sounds involved but well worth it. They eat almost everything with popcorn. Some gal here told me she mixed dried fruit. She won't let me have recipe. Said it is her 'original'! I do wish I would be more creative. Thanks for suggestion. Got trouble printing it. Now what do I do? Sure don't want to copy entire page.

I wish I'd found this before x-mas to give out for gifts, since it makes such a massive amount.

I'm thinking I would need a lot of toothpicks after eating handfuls of this stuff!
