Martha Washington Candy:

1/2 Cup butter melted
2 lbs Confectioners sugar
1 can condensed milk
4 cup very fine chopped pecans
12oz. Pkg semi-sweets
1/4 bar paraffin

Combine butter, milk, sugar, and pecans. Mix well. Shape into 1 inch balls. Place on a cookie sheet and chill until very firm. Next melt chocolate and paraffin in double boiler remove from heat and let cool slightly. Dip chilled balls into chocolate using a toothpick. Rechill...

Add a we bit of burbon and they are called Burbon Balls...

Is this what I see some of you refer to as Bon Bons??? Same thing?
 
Hum...chocolates are refered to as bon bons in certain places but not specifically the type of recipe you put up....bon bons are also(in the USA) ice cream balls covered in chocolate....depends where you are from...
