For this cheats method I use quality fresh vanilla custard from Marks & Spencer. I don't know if you can by fresh custard where you live so make some egg custard up and leave it to cool. The dish will then be Semi Cheats Caramel Semifreddo.
Boil a small UNOPENED can of condensed milk for 3 to 4 hrs checking regularly so the pan does not boil dry, let the tin cool and scoop out the caramel into your custard, mix with a whisk on slow, whisk cream to medium peaks and fold into the caramel custard, place the bowl in the freezer till part frozen.
