Finally got my hands on a blender

I was recently given a blender and decided to try it out today.

10 whole strawberries
1 banana
1/2 apple (skinned)
1/2 cup orange juice
1 tablespoon honey
1 cup ice

The drink I made, in the center of the picture, didn't last long :)

Congrats on getting a blender! That looks and sounds really good, ardchoille. I love blender smoothies on hot summer days. Adding a little Greek yogurt to your smoothies will help it stretch a little further and give you some added protein. (Fixed your pic for ya. )

Oh, added protein, I'm all for that! And, thanks for fixing the picture for me :)

What I did for the protein was to add some of the muscle protein powder that I use after my workouts. It added a hint of vanilla to the smoothie but it was delicious.
