FRIED ICE CREAM
1 Pint vanilla ice cream
1 beaten egg
1/4 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 C. frosted flakes, crushed
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 beaten egg
1/4 tsp vanilla
Place 4 scoops ice cream in pan. Freeze for 1 hour. Stir egg and vanilla. In pie plate mix cereal and cinnamon. Dip each scoop in egg, then coat with ceral. Freeze again. Dip and coat again. Freeze again. Fry in deep fat for 15 seconds.
Sun Cups
Cut flour tortillas in sun shapes...make slits at an angle around outer edge of tortilla. place flat in deep fat and using a round metal ladle, submerge tortilla and fry till golden. Edges will curl up around ladle to form a cup.
Serve scoop of fried ice cream in sun cup drizzled with honey or chocolate sauce
