Looking For Large Amounts of Ice Cream In Chicago

I have a small catering company and am looking for enough ice cream for 200 people for a Bar Mitzvah I am catering. I need Chocolate, Vanilla, and Mint Chocolate Chip. Any ideas???

I would contact a supplier, if you have an account with one, and order that way.

If you don't have an account I would contact 1 place and place an order. If they can only order so much then I would use multiple places.

As to where? I haven't a clue, sorry.

I am pretty much off the books so it is hard to get distributors to deal w/ me but I do have some contacts. Any one know a retailer that is good for that

I've only visited 2 grocery retailers in your area...Jewels and Dominick's....Maybe they could help.

Isn't there a Chef's Warehouse or something similar in Chicago? If you're a caterer, Im surprised you don't have a network who all order together to get better prices. We did that back when I was catering both in Chicago and Boston.
