ya know, i just have to say it again: go forth (oh, ye who live in medium-to-large cities) and find your local asian grocery store. all the unusual but tasty flavors mentioned are there, generally for about the same $ per pint as per serving at the restaurant. i'm completely addicted to lychee, mango, green tea and coconut flavors! red bean, mangoseen, and cheese are also readily available, but i've just never been brave enough to test-drive the cheddar ice cream...even tho i'm a *complete* cheese nut!

I think green tea icecream is usually made using tea powder...the stuff used for tea ceremony. Cant think what is called though. I have had homemade green tea ice cream years ago but never made the stuff myself.
