Beef pasties? Is that what Lady Gaga wears under her meat dress, in case of a nip slip?

Looks delicious. I googled for a recipe and found this link to be helpful: Cornish Pasty - How to Make a Cornish Pasty Recipe Video

but I'm curious: how tender does the meat come out? They recommend baking the pasty for 45 mins at 425F.

Depending on the cut of meat. I use round steak and if it is cut too big it can be tough. So small sized bites will work fine. I would think about the size of a penny or nickle some like to use ground round in the pasties I do not ground beef gives me the willies

My first husband made them for us once. He precooked the fillings first. The kids weren't too fond of them as they didn't have any gravy in them. They preferred the italian Calzones. Pasties with cold cuts in them instead of meat and potatoes.

When I saw the title of this post I thought Lady GaGa was at it it again.

Pasties have a whole different meaning where I live.
