Hi everyone,

Well, I was wanting to make a pulled pork recipe I found on here, but I picked up the wrong kind of meat to do it with.. What I have is called a 'Boneless Sirloin Roast'.. I've never made one of these before. It looks like it has some kind of a net wrapping around it. And I believe it's about 4 lbs. Would it be best to put this in my crock pot? (Assuming it'll fit..) What kind of seasonings should I use? When I make a regular roast, I usually put it in the crock pot, with a big can of cream of mushroom, and a can of water. We don't like mushrooms, but we've always liked it. Maybe I should cook it in the stove?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated..

I would recommend pan searing then oven roasting until you get an internal temp. of about 130 degrees for medium rare. A sirloin roast is very lean so if you take it past medium rare-medium it will dry out and get tough. I supposed you could braise it, but I've never tried braising that particular cut.
