Grilled Bacon Burgers

Sometimes I like to stuff swiss cheese inside each of my burgers. Make it your own by using any flavor Jimmy Deans Sausage. I would love to try the sage flavored but my husband does not care for it.
Enjoy! Debbie

GRILLED BACON BURGERS

1 pound(s) JIMMY DEAN SAUSAGE; Regular Flavor.
1 pound(s) GROUND BEEF; Lean.
6 slice(s) BACON; Peppered Hickory Smoked
1 clove(s) (large) GARLIC; Minced.
1 teaspoon(s) ONION FLAKES; Dehydrated.
BLACK PEPPER; To Taste.
TOOTHPICKS
_____

Mix sausage, ground beef, onion, garlic and pepper together.
Form into 6 patties.
Wrap bacon around burgers and secure with a toothpick.
Place on a greased BBQ grill.
Cook until done.
I usually cook mine for about 30 minutes over a low heat.
I do brown it first then turn down the heat.

"A Rose is a rose is a rose...by any other name is still a rose"

Whatever the name, Hamburger Steak, Chuck Wagon Steak, Bacon Burgers etc, etc it's all good eats, and a great idea with lots of room for creativity.

Thanks for Posting the recipe!

Before we could afford real steak, we had those and called them Mock Filets. We would cover them with sauteed mushrooms, serve a baked potatoe on the side, and that was our "steak dinner." That picture looks great. Now I must make them again .
